Hemorrhoids can be defined as abnormal swelling of veins in the rectum and anus. The Hemorrhoids seems much like varicose veins you might see on a person's legs. Hemorrhoids are very common disease. There are two goals of hemorrhoids treatment. First is to take away the symptoms such as burning, pain, itching and second to shrink the hemorrhoids. There are many treatments available to heal hemorrhoids. Band ligation therapy and hemorrhoids coagulation therapy are the most prevalent therapies to treat hemorrhoids. Prevention of hemorrhoids
As it is said that prevention is better then cure. The best way to prevent this painful disease is to keep stools soft and let them pass easily. It will decrease the pressure and straining on the anal muscles. Everybody should try to empty bowels as soon as possible after the urge occurs. Fiber enriched food is recommended because it makes the stools soft. Some light exercises such as walking and swimming can decrease the chances of hemorrhoids.
